FIFA 10 is a soccer or football video game. It is available for most gaming consoles including the Wii, the PlayStation3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PCs. There are also versions of the game in handheld formats for the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable as well as for some mobile phones.
In the manager mode of the game a player may become in charge of any of the clubs in the featured leagues. There has been an addition of an assistant manager to game play to take care of things concerning the team line up and to rotate the players depending on their importance in the upcoming match. Like when the next match to be played is against a team that has a low rating then the assistant manager will make sure the best players sit out and the ones who usually sit out get to play.
The results for the matches are based more upon the strength of the team and do not seem to be as random as they were during earlier versions of this game. Players can change the names of the generic stadiums to names of stadiums from their own home towns.
The system of transferring players has been made more realistic than it was in past versions. Money is not the only factor in getting a player anymore. Factors such as the teams number of players who play that position will be considered before position will be accepted.
The budget for the managers to use is based heavily on what the club’s board of directors gives the manger to work with. Each team is given two actual budgets. One budget is to be used for paying the players and the other budget makes improvements to the club itself.
