Guitar Hero 5

Guitar hero 5 is the fifth edition in a musically based video game designed to be played on the Xbox 360, the Playstation2, the Playstation3, and the Wii gaming consoles. This musical video game provides the player with the experience of playing and participating in a four person band. The players can play the bass guitar, the lead guitar, the drums or do the song tracks vocals. This game is designed to be played with the instrument controllers that players already have from the previous versions. For the first time the game comes in a bundle that includes all the instruments and accessories needed to perform all the actions on the game.

This version has a song list of 85 different songs performed by 83 different artists. You will find music by such great musicians as Johnny Cash, Shirley Manson, Carlos Santana, Kurt Cobain and Matthew Bellamy.

In the fourth version each band was only allowed one of each instrument. The manufacturers created the ability to have any combination of numbers of the four allowed instruments. The bass and lead guitars will require controllers for guitar, the drums will require a drum set controller and you will need microphones for the vocalist in the group.

This game also includes avatars of famous musicians that you can unlock when you reach designated playing levels. The avatars have different clothing and clothing styles that can be unlocked by reaching a desired level as well. Players are allowed to unlock specialized musical instruments for their avatars to use.

This musical video game tests a player’s ability to keep the beat and play along with some of their favorite musicians as well as compete against others and try to be the best at playing the songs. It allows groups of players to play simultaneously and if one player gets kicked out, the game has the provision for the remaining band members to play to a certain level in order to let their band mate back in.
